We have a few options of steps that we work with daily. They are precast concrete steps made in MN. The color options are bluestone, desert tan, and brown. If you don’t like these colors we have many other options that we can get a hold of including other precast or natural rock stone steps also.

How Shores Edge Excavating was started
Troy Lang (Owner/Operator) grew up in Annandale, MN. From a young age he knew he wanted to be in the heavy equipment/landscaping business. He started off in the sandbox, like many young kids do, building all sorts of buildings and roads with those little Tonka toys. During the summers he would always be in the sandbox or around the neighborhood watching heavy equipment at neighbors houses as the area around was being developed.
Then once he graduated high school he moved to Ortonville, MN where his family already had a cabin on Big Stone Lake. This is where his dreams started to become reality as he was able to get his feet wet working for a local excavator (Fridgen Excavating) for the summer before going to school in the fall for Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance at Central Lakes College in Staples, MN. After 8 months of school he came back and continued to work for Fridgen Excavating learning all about the excavating world.
While working there he started buying equipment as he could afford and started doing work on the weekends and evenings as he could. When he got busy enough he decided it was time to go out on his own.
He now strives to provide customers with excellent customer service and high quality work on time and on budget! He takes pride in his work and wants to complete it to the highest standards possible!
